Nursing home evacuated after roof fire (The Herald News)
Published: Nursing home residents were evacuated after part of the roof caught fire Tuesday morning. Battalion Chief Robert DiLorenzo said it was 9:06 a.m. when flames and smoke were reported at Glenwood Care Center, 222 N. Hammes Ave. There was a rooftop fire on the back of the one-story section of the building and smoke went into the vents near the kitchen area, he said....
